This Is a Very good purchase, Very clean with nice sharp crisp lines, I would recommend a thorough washing in a mild dish soap as to remove any mold release agent especially around these lines as the agent will affect the outcome of your paint job.I purchased this for a birthday present for my 32 year old daughter she IS also very Pleased with it, detail Is very accurate and it should detail very nicely and accurately, and will make a nice addition to her collection, it would have been nice if it would of came with decals of a western motif as this Is the same semi as in Smokey and the Bandit 1. There Is No flashing on this Truck at all. It will be awhile before we get this one built as neither of us have much time for building. we would highly recommend this kit.

For the money I spent on this kit, I would have expected better. That being said, don’t let that deter you from buying this kit. It is for the advanced modeler, plain and simple. Mirrors were miserable. I messed up the front turn signals but managed to make it look presentable. Details on this kit are second to none, especially the engine. Decals are thin and brittle. Plan ahead for what you want to do. I coupled mine to the Amt Wilson livestock van. Have at it, and have fun!
