WWII German pioneers (engineers) were a important element to their forces. They were used in front lines and would be called combat engineers, for often they were under fire, or had to defend themselves. The kit would have been better with some figs in combat poses. A few poses for building-constructing barriers and bridges would make a better set. The kits does have an officer and a remote control mine (Goliath?) The Raft is very well done, and it was good to have extra equipment (more would be better). Detail was good, but My figs suffered from excess flash. This is an important subject and I am glad Revel has attempted it.
