"Revell 1/72 Halifax Mk III"
fritz79
The Revell Handley Page Halifax MkIII is a much better rendition of the Halifax than their earlier Merlin engine kit. Revell pretty much spoiled that version by completely missing the mark when it came to the size of the engines and wheel wells. No such problem here on the Hercules powered MkIII. New wing and engines combined with the good fuselage of the earlier kit equal a very good, well detailed kit. It comes in a very large box, packed with sprues, some of which are not used. The decal sheet disappoints with only a couple of markings provided. Still this kit is light years better than the old Airfix offering.
