Probably this is the best model of this aircraft in scale 1/72. Very good and detailed detailing the cockpit. Decal for the instrument panel. Very high-quality cockpit glazing.Great decal in the two versions. A very good study of cooling radiators in nacelles. High-quality plastic, good attention to detail in the flesh to the smallest detail. Good connectivity components, the lack of flash. Fuselage really cut into many constituent parts, but it will not prevent you to collect it. To simulate the antenna I used a string of women stockings. The vertical portion of the antenna made of a thin copper wire. What happened can be seen in photographs of the finished model, laid out on the site.Definitely recommend a model for fans of 72 scale.

"JU 88 A-4 Bomber"

Revell makes the best JU88 kit on the market hands down. This is a great build, with lots of detail, no flash. This is a level 4 skill kit that is for more advanced modelers. I strongly recommend this kit. This can also be a fun build as a father son team or just someone who has the time to work on it a few hours a night after work. Either way it is a great kit.

"New mould, but watch the number before purchasing..."

I once bought a Ju88 A-4 from revell, to replace an old wreckage... And I bought the cheapest, 04130... Which was another run of the sixties mould... And as I've saw previously from revell, where they change drastically the art work and trick us into thinking that it is a new mould, I didn't paied attention to this... until now. The old mould had its faillures, like the transparent parts being too foggy, not allowing to see anything on the inside... The cockpit was too rough... but this one has recessed panel lines, beautifully detailed cockpit, trully clear parts, and a perfect fit. So, it is a big improvement over the old version. The only thing the older version had that this one doesnt is the possibility of leaving the engine cowls out, so that it can be seen. other than that, This is a big improvement!

Because it was a Revell of Germany kit I didn't take the time to check reviews. That came back to bite me. Sad to say AVOID this kit it is NOT worth the $20 ish price tag. Every step in the assembly process was an exercise in Ignatian patience. Fit was terrible, dyhedral difficult to attain, gaps all over. The final straw for me was installation of the engines and the poor quality of the canopy. From what I learned later these are molds from an old Heller kit circa 1960's!!!!!! I don't know what Revell Deutschland was thinking. They would be much better off melting the mould for scrap or retiring it to a museam. I originally bought it for my 11 year old son and ended up working most of it but I could tell he was getting bored watching me correcting, filling, sanding etc so with time at a premium I top shelved the kit where we will use it to experiment colour camo patterns with the airbrush. I can't think of one pro except for the box art!! SO what to do-- I did some research as my son really likes the JU-88 and wanted it for a school show and tell. So we found Italieri JU-88A-4 kit# 1282 in1/72nd scale and this is a NICE kit !!! Go for this one !! 5 Stars There is a Revell of Germany JU-88 C-6 kit # 04856 this kit is also a great kit has great reviews and more than makes up for kit #04672. I give 04856 5 stars. I am not aware of other 1/72nd JU-88A-4's . AIRFIX plans to put out a new tooled JU-88 in the future based on this NEW laser technology they are using to crank out some awesome kits I can't wait for that one. Revell Germany has a A-4 in the works new tooled also in the works. Their 1/32nd JU-88A-4 (Revell Germany) is breathtaking. My son wants us to build that one but that will be our winter project. I hope this helps
