Spotlight Review

"Green is Keen"

Just finished it. Except for a few unclear directions that I figured out, everything fit very well with no flash. I did a box version just because I hadn't done that green in a kit before. The decals were first rate, but do need a good bit of soaking in warm water and a decal fluid. Some parts are small and fragile, like the door handles. Care will make that okay. I like the parts list. Wish Tamiya and others would do that. Really helps if something falls off the sprue. Overall, a good choice.

Goes together quite easily. Lots of detail parts. There are multiple carb choices for your induction. Great decal sheet. The roof decals are the hardest because it is so large and because of the curves. My paint job is a faded two tone from dark to light. The underside has lots of detail. You can build it with gasser style like mine or stock.

This kit is another version of the great Revell 57 Ford. I have built three versions of the sedan and two of the wagon. Very nice detail and assembles smoothly. This one has a mix of parts from the Fireball Roberts kit (race dash, seat, and roll bar) and the Gasser wagon (suspension and various engine parts). There are also some real nice looking carbs for the Gasser engine. It can also be built stock too if desired as all of those parts are included. Lots of parts let you build a nice individual variant.
