Fantastic kit. Great options, almost no flashing, no warping, great fitting numbered parts, and clear numbered instructions. Great detail. A lot of fun to build. I plan to buy a few more of these for future optional builds. I highly recommend this kit to any serious builder/collector. This kit is the way all model kits should be.

this is my second thunderbolt kit. that's how much i like it. it's is well detailed with sharp and crisp molding and is a classic muscle car. no flash to be seen any where on this kit. the first kit went together with ease and look's great. that kit was painted red, trying to decide if this one will be black or yellow. either way it will be a real looker in my collection. highly recommend it to muscle car fan's or any model builder. just a really good and well done kit.

Knowing the designer, developer and builder of the '64 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt, Dick Brannan, this model takes on a special meaning to me. I well know the build of the original Thunderbolts, I had not built the model previously. I built up two models to show to my friend and carefully took notes on his responses. In summary, the model is a good representation of the Thunderbolt for the average modeler. If you buy the suggested paint(s) from Testors and follow the kit's instructions, you will be pleased to own a reliable representation of the '64 Ford Thunderbolt. This is definitely a good kit for those who like details and drag racing history.
