Overall, assembling this kit is an enjoyable process. Fit and finish was good, with very little molding flash on parts. It is a Skill Level 4 kit, but it is not that difficult to build - you just have to be patient as you deal with all the struts, spars, and rigging. I found that using super glue, rather than plastic cements, made the build much stronger and much quicker - itâ€™s well worth using.

Fun kit for sure, but definately you have to have some experience. Threading of cables has to be real precise. Very little painting.

Full Steam Ahead

This is a very old but very nice kit and the only plastic version of the Wright Flyer. Comes with the plane, figures, and small details to recreate the first flight. The wing supports are a little over sized but dont look out of place to me. The rigging does require some patience as it does with any kit. The detail is nice for the price, really exceeded my expectations all around. You cant go wrong for the money, I highly recommend this kit for any skill level if you like old planes.

This was my second project and proved to be a challenge on the tail trying to take off the 2 cent bars that helped hold it together while glue set. other then that with me being a beginner found no other issues with it.
