Nice solid red, easy to over thin, best ratio i have found is thinning with Tamiya thinner at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner for airbrushing.

"Good red!"

Wet sand with 10,000-12,000 grit and then cover with Tamiya acrylic clear gloss, and you've got a hit! Only complaint, and it's common with Tamiya acrylics, is that it dries QUICKLY, both in the bottle (develops a skim on top) and on the brush - wash the brush and shake the paint when you start to see the skim. Bit of a hassle, but the results are great. (See my picture of the Pete wrecker and the Ford service truck!)

"Good paint"

Red has always been a tough paint for me and I find this one to work for me. Goes one smoothly and dries quickly.

"Great For Brush Painting!!!"

First of all don't believe anyone who claims Tamiya paints aren't good for brush painting or that they have to be diluted for any reason other than air brushing. As long as you're competent enough to handle a brush with out using a broom in its place you'll be alright with the Tamiya bottled paints.
