But I am a Tamiya fan, I really like their 1/48 scale models. In my experience they are generally very easy to build, and look good. After a quick peek at the box contents, there are a little over 30 pieces and only a couple of them appear to be very delicate, which would be my only knock against Tamiya, sometimes those bits are really thin and a lot a care needs to be taken to get them off the sprue without breaking them.
