Nice kit!

Oh, I absolutely loved this model! This kit was great! I highly recommend this kit for someone just starting out! The only problem a beginner might have is the road wheels, but that is about it

Tamiya mid production Tiger kit

While this kit is like so many of the fine Tamiya kits this one needs you to build the tracks from 100 parts. You need to build these with the thick Tamiya cement so the finished tracks can be threaded onto the wheels which are glued and non moveable. The track assembly is still a little flexible after assembly and sitting for one hour. Any other cement might not yield the flex you needs to get the treads on the model. Go to tankencylopedia.com to determine a good color scheme and learn about the Tiger...the site is very informative.

Great kit

This is a great kit from Tamiya. The details are nice and crisp. As with any Tamiya kit I have built, there is very little flash, always a great fit and the instructions are very easy to follow. It was nice to see that Tamiya supplied individual track links as I feel those are more detailed than the rubber band tracks. There are plenty of after market parts that can really make this kit great. I'd recommend this kit to anyone, as the only thing I saw wrong with the kit were personal preferences.
