Product Details

Only Porsche, committed to sports car racing, could make a racing version and production version of a sports car nearly identical. The Porsche 911 GT2 was first developed in 1995 to compete in sports car races and GT2 class circuits. The guts of this racing machine consist of 6-speed, rear-wheel drive transmission, powered by a rear installed 3600cc air-cooled V6 engine with 450hp of output. The street legal version had its output reduced to 430hp, still deemed more than enough for public roads, and featured the added comfort of nice air conditioning and the luxury of great audio. This one is meant to be a racecar, disguised as a street car! Only performance, nothing extra in this car, it has made a strict diet! And tamiya did represent that very well. A nice one, again. Even if the hood is not possible to open...

This is a very nice super car to add to your collection I love this kit so much though I am not a huge super car guy it is always nice to add a super car or two to a car show diorama this kit was so much fun to build I have to pick up another one the details in this kit were awesome and defiantly worthy to pick up 5 out of 5 stars for sure for this kit I may buy a lot of super cars like this one and build a junkyard diorama in Dubai it would be really different to the other dioramas I have PROS: Nice casting, fun to build, detailed, CONS: I have yet to find an issue with this kit. If you are looking for a good super car kit or just want to build one you should consider picking this one up

Better than expected

Just got this kit and I highly recommend. The detail in this build is vast and the options are limitless. I went with a gloss black that looks wet for the road while looking ready for the track. I plan on buying one or two more of these kits and customizing them many ways. Many pieces that equate to a fun build.
