US M8 Light Armored Car Greyhound

This kit is my first 1/48 scale armor kit of any kind. The kit itself has five very well molded parts trees. Along with a metal plate that screws into the bottom of the chassis. Giving the model a little weight to it. Some of the pros about the kit. Is, that it is a Tamiya kit. So, the detail and fit are awesome. With hardly any flash. The kit also comes with a nicely detailed vehicle commander figure. The cons with the kit are the price and lack of detail. (believe it or not) I know that I didn't think twice about the kits price. But, for just $3.76 more. You could buy a fully loaded 1/35 scale M8. Also made by Tamiya. I was also very surprised that for an open turret vehicle. There is NO detail inside the turret. And, NO little extras to place on the vehicle. Overall, it's a great kit and was still a lot of fun to build. Yes, I would buy more 1/48 scale kits. And would recommend the kit to anyone with a couple of other kits under their belt. DGPL_63
