Perfect addition to the serious modeler's workshop! The adjustable arms of this product make it easy to position the magnifying lens to a comfortable position so that you can paint with fine detail . The light, while not as bright as you'd expect, is certainly adequate. Unless you want to purchase batteries for the light, you'll have to buy a 6 volt adapter separately which was the only disappointment. I also had to trim plastic off the base so the adapter would fit into the jack which was no big deal. Overall, I'm pleased with the product. It's saved a lot of strain on my eyes!

I like keeping my workspace very well organized, this item helps greatly. The only bad thing is the cutting mat, i can't find the right size but have not looked hard enough. The LED lamp works well and the magnifying lens is pretty big, a most have.

Product was and is exactly what I needed on my bench. Only thing I need to find the drawing of the power plug setup. I would certainly recommend this to any builder,novice or advanced. The magnifying glass really does help some of us more advanced in age modelers.
