Time consuming

This is a great replica of the shipped that launced the first attack on the mainland of Japan. It took a while to complete due to the small parts and detailed painted but once completed and place in the blue ocean surrounding you could invision the ship on its way to Japsn. Not recommended for the novice but a nice ship to add to anyone's collection.

Great father-son activity!

I really appreciated the detail in the aircraft on the deck, and inside the hangar deck. This highly detailed model took my dad and me about a month working 3-4 hours a day. The ocean base that the finished model sits in is clear and can be painted, but we cut a piece of wood to size and painted that instead so we could have the appearance of depth to the water. A great build for people with experience.
