US M113 Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicle

The M113ACAV a classic armored vehicle from the Vietnam War. The kit includes some interior design, for example the engine area, simple but good for this scale. The Vinyl track is fairly simple, but ok. The Hull is well molded with a good level of detail. Trim vane, shovel and other parts are molded as separate pieces. Driver and commander's hatch can be poised open or closed. The machine guns and ACAV kit are well molded, perhaps a bit thick. Very good decals with many options. Very good Kit overall.

Another excellent kit from Trumpeter. I love these kits, great detail for the scale and easy to build. This one has a basic but detailed interior with an engine so it can be built open or closed. It also has a lot of decal options. I don’t what it is about this vehicle but its simple design and history makes it one of my favorites. This kit always sells out quickly so don’t hesitate to buy it when it becomes available.
