A Nice Variation on a US WWII Destroyer

This was kind of fun to build, since you build a ship/destroyer without the normal 5 guns like you see on a Fletcher or Greaves class destroyer. Having this in 350 scale makes building much more pleasant than a 700 since you are able to handle the smaller parts much easier. Instructions were very very good and your end result is a great compliment to your other ship models.

Great first build

This was the first model ship I've ever attempted to build. The instructions were detailed and clear, and the sprue's were intact and undamaged. The detailing of the ship was excellent and the photo etched brass fittings were a nice touch. I would recommend this model to anyone looking to start building model ships.

Very satisfying out of the box

This kit can produce an excellent quality model of the legendary Destroyer Escort, with nothing much to add other than railing and rigging. Fitting of parts is generally good but if you decide to build a full hull version there is need to take care of a prominent seam line where the bottom hull joins. The bottom hull part is also unusually rough, requiring some significant sanding. The level of detail is very good for an injection mould kit but can be improved using one of the available photoetch sets designed for this product.
