Rubberized coating for priming, sealing and detail mountings.
I use this matte finish to get a toothy surface on slick surfaces e.g., styrene. It covers well and drys to a foggy white appearance. Great for priming and provides a solid surface for acrylics for bonding. If you want an opaque primer base, use 'surface primer' polyurethane instead, white or black depending on the desired effect. It's also useful for attaching very small details, frosting windows and looks like thin ice on surfaces. Mix well and enjoy.
Vallejo Matte Polyurethane Varnish
This is the best clear flat coat that I have used and I have used quite a bit different clear coats during my modeling career. It is best used indoor under a controlled environment, around 15 PSI, and about a inch or two away from your project and you'll get some pretty nice results. The results are pretty much a dead flat look, which I like because I build primarily armor models. NOTE- I have only thinned this with Vallejo airbrush thinner and a few drops of their airbrush flow improver. My thinning ratio is about 50%/50%. Also, Vallejo's customer service is top notch.
