just finished making my parasaurolophus puzzle(who named these dinosaurs lol)and everything was fairly simple the pieces on the instructions don't much the pieces on the sheets of wood exactly so you have to look at the shape of the pieces and match them up.and the spine pieces go from biggest to smallest starting at the head and working down.the spine piece with the slots from the arm goes in the 6th slot down from the head and the other pieces you can just eyeball and line them up so they look right..i also like the pose of the dinosaur its in like mid step so the arms and legs are off set but it still stands on its own.this puzzle is a beginner puzzle with 38 pieces but most of the pieces just go down the spine so its fairly easy to assemble. i have made a bunch of these dinosaur puzzles and i have liked them all.this one is just in plain wood but can be painted if you want.if you search the internet for these puzzles you can find some dinosaur puzzles that are pre painted and hobbylink has some of these puzzles pre painted too.this model took me about an hour and a half to build.i would also recommend using glue to secure the pieces after its assembled and you know everything is right. some of the pieces are a little loose and fall off easily.it does come with a post it note size piece of sandpaper so you can sand the pieces and maybe get a better fit.i just use white school glue to glue mine together and it holds the pieces together very well.so over all a good fun puzzle to make
