PO-2 Soviet Reconnaissance Plane WWII

ZVEDA is a Russian scale model company with an English division, and all of these 1/350 scale models are part of a larger game called Art of Tactic, where you make your own models and play in within the context of 1942, the very early years of WWII. They have a range of weapons available as small models, and this tiny prop plane was a welcome change from all the present-era jet fighters. There is very little detail, but after a spray of primer, some scribing, and some sanding, you can create your own small-scale model details.

I had a good build at first the fuselage and tail are already made you put on the ! piece landing gear a machine gun, The engine is easy the prop easy the upper wing hower ever I screwed up. the struts on the fuselage did not want to fit until I cut the holes bigger unfortunately by the time I fixed that glue was every where. However I buried my mess in paint and decals. The plane doesn't have a lot of detail in the wings but does have bombs. I made mine into a night witches plane and has turned out okay not great but good enough, black paint hides a lot. So in total I am surprised by zvezda kits I will buy some more.

As good a kit as any from Zvezda. Take good care with the wing struts, they are fragile.
