My boys have really enjoyed these, but I have to say that it's not one of my favorite sets. There are lots of pieces and they're a little fussy. There were no instructions, so I had to try to figure out which rider went with which horse, which weapon, and which shield. I clearly got it wrong as often as not. I was also a bit at a loss re how to paint them (because there's no real guidance) but again that's probably a personal problem.
