"Good model"

It is a good model. Lots of parts. I would reccommend this model to other people as I think they would enjoy it.

"Alot of fun to build"

I love this kit and over the years I've built it several times. The instructions are excellent and the parts fit is great. Flash was light on most parts but the chrome pipes and engine air intake scoops had to be scraped and then repainted with chrome paint. I built it this time the way it appears in the movie Munster go Home with the bubble top cut for just a wind shield. There is also a surf board supplied but to honest I didn't use it. I would recommend this model to all builders. I built it in a week.

"60's throwback"

If you grew up in the 60's and there was a custom car on a tv show, it was built by George Barris. The Munsters had 2 cars, the Munsters Coach and Drag-u-la. The models of these cars came out at the same time, and it's nice to see them back again. As for this model, the pieces were in great shape with very little flash. I only had 2 problems with this kit. First off, the instructions told you to attach the body to the chassis and then install the steering column. The end of it goes through a hole in the side of the body, which is hard to install by that method. It would have been a lot easier to install it to the body before attaching it to the body. Second, I wanted to strip the chrome from the headlights and taillight so I could paint them gold to match the body. I soaked them on bleach as I always do to strip chrome. Half of the chrome came off in a couple of minutes, but the rest of the chrome was so thick it wouldn't come off after 3 days. So I just primered them and then painted them gold. There was a surfboard kit with this model but I didn't use it. This was a fun kit to build and brought back a lot of memories.
