Parts don't fit right, the glossy finish makes painting harder, flashing on all the parts, poorly packaged in the box. Not buying this brand again.....
Shipped loose but good quality. Did the job I needed, joining the body tubes. Be aware when mine arrived they were shipped loose in the box with no kind of packaging.....
For 1.29 you get 10 nose cones. This came as a nice surprise so ill keep four and give the rest away.....
For 0.39 you get four launch lugs, I'm satisfied that way, or better yet cut them in half and now you have eight.....
I switched to a nylon parachute for my F24 & F35 engines due to the plastic ones burning and sticking together. What a difference! I suggest to myself and others utilizing a swivel eye closure to atta....
I have a modified AIM 54C kit that I fitted with an extra BT80 body tube, and an 18 nylon parachute, 24mm motor retainer, and I fly it on a F24-7w motor. I recently refitted in with 1/4 birch plywood ....
I built a 75 scratch build rocket like the mean machine back in the day but bigger and launched it twice so far with a F35-8w. It lifted surprisingly well off the pad and reached about 700-900 feet. T....
This went together so simply and easily. The construction is card stock so there's no wood to snap and break. Just don't get the engine spacers stuck in the tubes, and note that the rocket is two piec....
I bought one of these to replace my rod from my childhood, and the threaded joint was quite weak and it ultimately bent. I went to my local hardware store, Lowe's, and purchased three rods of differen....
When I saw that I could use the D&E engine mount with these tubes, the idea for making a variant of the mean machine rocket was born.......
