"Surprised at the paint quality"
Full Steam Ahead
When I received my set of these figures I was really surprised at the detail of the paint. I didnt know what to expect when ordering, just knew I didnt want to paint all these little people for my diorama. The colors are where they should be (skin tones, clothing, etc). This set is a great time saver considering no to little paint required. These are VERY small and you should have photo etch scissors to remove them and they may need some touch where the sprue connected. Recommend this set.

"Figures silhouettes not dimensional, and metal not plastic."

Pros: The paintwork is acceptable for silhouettes. Other than that None. Cons: Expensive for you receive. These are only silhouettes not figures at all, and they are metal not, Passengers (Painted) -- Plastic Model Ship Figures as the description says. They are useless for any diorama where they are observable from more than one angle as they are razor edge thin and invisible from a side angle. Conclusion: These were purchased for a diorama where they will be visible from multiple angles, since they vannish from a side view they are useless to me. Another wasted purchase that will go straight into the bin.
