"Awesome 2 stager"

The Estes Hyper Bat is a unique 2 stage design with a payload section that looks cool on the shelf as well as the launch pad. The rocket went together quickly and without any real gotchas. the only tricky part is the tail cone, but if you take your time it will come out perfect. The only con I had with this kit was that the date stamp went through the image on the decal sheet. A quick e-mail to Estes customer service and a new decal sheet was on it's way!

Neat design by Estes, for the Hyper Bat and a real performer for altitude ,at over 2,000 feet. The Estes Hyper Bat can also be scaled up, to 24mm power, or down to 13mm power, depending on your launching area, all should perform just as well.

My kids called it the bat-rocket and loved firing it. We used a C6-0 and C6-7 and this rocket easily went over 1600 feet! It was easy to build with my boys and a blast to launch. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed putting this kit together and was a little bit more challenging than my other builds to date . Come up a treat when painted but should of sanded it first to get a smoother finish on the balsa wood I think , will use a thicker undercoat next time as well and might invest in A fin aligner and measurer . All in all very happy with this kit.
