"Good curbside kit"

good curbside kit no opening hood doors or trunk if that is what your looking for this kit is for you and also me. if you are looking for something with more options + 3 engines lemans 427 overhead valve ' indy type overhead cam ' 289 overhead valve. this kit was new tool in 1964 65 as a GT40 than Ford GT than in 1966 markII ford GT this kit has been made through the years 1977 testors those famous fords. finally to the not so good end in 1983 union model out of japan let the IMC molds set out in the weather and has been said most all molds were destroyed and most all union model kits are gone and that is why they pull a premium.

"Excellent model with a few mistakes"

This is a pretty simple kit but if you take your time will turn out really nice. There are a few mistakes that bothered me but in the end had no affect on the build. The dash is the same for all the different offerings and is actually from a 1967 car. Also the seatbelts are black and in this car should have been blue. There is an extra piece of photo-etch that doesn't apply to this car. Lastly the carburetor is not from a '66 car. All that being said it still makes a very nice model. If you don't want to detail up the engine (hardly seen) or the interior (also hard to see) you could build this in a weekend. I spend closer to a month building it because I detailed up the the interior and took my time with the paint. I WILL CAUTION YOU- the decals are prone to cracking. Take your time with them. I had to touch up 3-4 or them because they split or didn't lay down right and broke. I would buy another one though because I love the car so much. If you are a Ford fan I would say this is a must have because there are no other 1:24 versions.
