"HaT Industries 1/32 American Civil War Zoaves_Painted"

Nicely-sculpted figures. The package comes with 16 figures in four poses: kneeling firing, standing firing, advancing with rifle and bayonet, and running / charging with fixed bayonet -- no command figures. Molded in soft blue plastic, the figures had some noticeable mold lines, but nothing too bad. I washed them in warm, soapy water, then undercoated with Tamiya flat white primer. I painted the figures with Delta Ceramcoat acrylic paints, washed them with Games Worshop flesh wash, and sealed them with KRYLON gloss and Testors Dullcoat. The figures took the paint well, but the two poses with fixed bayonets suffered some minor paint flakage on the tips of their bayonets when handled on the wargames table. A second coat of flat black, drybrushed with silver soon corrected the problem. My favorite figures were the standing and kneeling firing figures.
