Honda CB400-FOUR 1974 Model Motorcycle

This is one highly detailed model. It is definitely not for a beginner! You will be building the cylinder fin layer by fin layer. Same for the cylinder head. You have to stack the fins as you glue them together. The rear shocks are four pieces. Top, bottom, metal strut rod, and metal spring coil. You have to add hose attachments to several pieces that are very tiny. All four carbs have to be assembled and then the linkage connecting them together. You put parts inside the crank case. Any cable or hose on the real bike is on this model. Yep even spark plug wires have to go to either the left or right coil pack which you will build. Even the battery must be built and the vent tube attached. Tire rims are six pieces. Left and right half's then more spokes for each half and the center hub. Definitely look at each step carefully before doing it. Some planning is needed for certain steps to make it easier. The front disc brake caliper is assembled then attached to the fork by the plans but vague on where the brake disc shield attaches. To get things right I built the caliper on the fork added the fender and tire then the other fork. Worked way easier for me then the way they planed it. You will have intimate knowledge of how the real bike was built when you build this model. seems the only thing missing is electrical wiring excluding the spark plugs. I really enjoyed building this one. The level of detail is extremely high and if you enjoy a highly detailed complex project, this one is for you.
