I have only recently discovered Oxford N scale vehicles. They have very acceptable detailing and are quite sturdy. What propels them to Excellent status is the low price. If you want to put a driver in this car, use 1:200 scale instead of 1:160--it will fit better. This little MG provides a nice contrast to the 40s and 50s vehicles on my layout.
I had a love/hate relationship with a life-size Tartan red MGB in my earlier days which I LOVED to drive when it was so inclined to accommodate me, so I wanted to have it as a supporting character in the N-gauge layout I'm starting to build. This scale model is beautiful!
