Intermountain's products are known as top of the line in all aspects of any given car. The re-release of this Frontenac 10,000 gallon tanker is no exception. It and five Frontenac sister cars, six in all (46205-19 thru 46205-24) are part of a Texas and New Orleans petro-chemical train set in WWII behind either a Mehano (an import from Slovenia) 2-10-2, SP class F-1 coal burning TNO 949 or a Broadway Limited 2-8-0 consolidation, TNO 819. Don't let the picture of these cars' simple looks fool you. These are highly detailed cars from top to bottom including dome details, hand rails, ladders, hand brake staff and wheel, full under car brake details including brake beams and brake shoes on the trucks with extremely accurate lettering and printing all true to scale, so they are delicate. It weighed 101 grams out of the box and rolls effortlessly on metal wheels and axles. I have found no real downside to these cars and to me are well worth the expense to add one or more of these to your own freight car fleet.
