Twin Oil Tanks Kit

I needed small oil tanks to fill a spot and this filled the bill perfectly as it was already very close to the prototype I am modeling. I modified it somewhat to follow the prototype. The parts were all clean and easy to separate from the sprues. Each tank is made from 4 semi-circles and unfortunately they are not perfectly round. When I glued them together I used a jig to squeeze the sides so they were round in the hopes that when the glue dried they would retain their shape. When the tops are added and they are glued to the base they are ok, but not perfect. Some pipes are included and I used some of them. I borrowed some from another model and made some from styrene. The model does not have decals but instead uses printed glossy paper. The large signs that go on the tanks are not acceptable, but some of the smaller ones are. For the price I would have expected actual decals. Overall a good model that can fit in almost anywhere.
