This is an excellent model, I haven't built this in 40yrs, Pros: it arrived in a timely manner,the parts are nice and solid/strong, no flashing, and the box told me the size of the model, looking forward to building it!! Cons: none on this model, however, most of the scifi models I looked at didn't tell me the size and I prefer to do models 10 or bigger.

I had seen this kit in a local store often but finally made the jump and bought it, and am HIGHLY pleased with it. Yes the box says 14 long but this is far more impressive in real life. You will work on it with enthusiasm and suddenly there are very few parts left and you just don't want it to stop. So many memories of the show because of this model. Just drives me to buy the 1:48 scale version and create a huge diorama and cannot wait to see what detail would be on that kit. MPC improved this kit and the details and mold quality is really impressive. Now that it is completed I can see ways I could improve the result so looks like I will do the Hawk version first and then return to this one.

Really feel like I am being the models Eagles for the show with this kit. Just get the photo etching to help increase that detail.
