This elegantly simple payload model is the first Quest model rocket kit to use a "through-the-wall" (TTW) balsa fin attachment. There are three precise pre-cut slots in the body tube that allow for perfect placement and location of the fins.
I wanted a basic Payloader to haul an altimeter and purchased the Quest Payloader ONE. At the time I did not know the kit had through the wall fins. This made assembly idiot proof to assemble and a very strong fin joint. The Payloader One is the first rocket to go up at each launch and have flown this kit over 40 times in the last year and it is still going strong. My results with an Altimeter are as follows : A8-3= 124 feet, B6-4= 309 feet, C6-5=620 feet, and an Aerotech 18mm reloadable D13-7W screams it to 1362 feet.
