This is one great looking car once completed as long as its in black. I don't normally spray paint my cars black since they are like mirrors that show all the imperfections but the exception is this kit, Smokey and the Bandit Firebird and the Batmobile. You choose either the Grand National or the more powerful GNX. This is a re-release from the late 1980's-1990's. The chassis is a tight fit that you will need to spread the lower part of the body apart to assemble. I could not get the chassis fully seated so mine resulted in a rear squatting stance that makes it look like it is accelerating. There are some inaccuracies in the instructions if you choose to build the GNX so you will need to do your own research. The front fender vents are reversed in the instructions. The rear axle torsion and frame reinforcement bars are provided in the kit but not mentioned in the instructions. The GNX will require the dashboard with two dual round dials instead of the wide rectangular one. Only the smaller Grand National turbocharger is provided in this kit. Some decals are so small that they never made it onto the model. Sinister looking car once completed that will still require the same amount of build time as a model that is not monochromatic.
