Spring Green Super Turf

These particles have a more natural looking open airy structure which isn't as solidly dense as Woodland Scenic foam textures (underbrush, bushes, clump foliage). That inherent depth in the foliage precludes having to sprinkle on any other fine turf for highlighting. This type of turf doesn't come in one uniform particle size either; there are smaller bits and larger bits ranging from coarse to underbrush and bush size thicknesses. Given the nature of the material, it's more difficult for diluted matte medium to permeate and soak into it, so it helps to push it into a dab of glue first followed by diluted matte medium. Beyond ground vegetation, I'm rather fond of using SuperTurf for larger scale tree foliage. It's too heavy for delicate polyfill fiber but furnace filter material coated in spray adhesive supports it nicely. It also works pretty well on Woodland Scenic tree armatures. No problems with this shade of spring green, it works for both weeds or trees.
