This is a great kit of a rare subject. Not for beginers for sure, but you don't need to be a master builder either. There are a LOT of really small parts in subassemblies. I am not quite finished with mine (in the weathering stage) but I had a great time building it. I chose the T34 option. While the model is very nicely detailed, it is a little over-engineered and complicated in a few areas. The M-2 .50 cal is comprised of no fewer than 6 parts.
It comes with a great set of jigs to help align the suspension arms and then build the tracks. Make sure you watch the spacing of the individual links of you may end up with some last minute fit problems when you fit the tracks over the road wheels!
Overall it's a great kit and the pieces are molded crisp and about 99% flash and mark-free. The instructions can be a little confusing at times and you want to be careful to follow the set for the version you are building (T30 or T34), but it build pretty quickly and looks great when it's finished.
