This thinner works perfectly with the rest of the AK line of weathering products. I've been using it to clean brushes, thin effects products, fix pigments to vehicle/accessory surfaces, and for cleaning up the edges on applied weathering products. You can use a slightly damp brush of this thinner to smooth out and hone the edges/size of applied weathering products. I've used this together with the earth/dust pigments, sprinkling out the dry pigment onto jerry cans, fuel drums, figures' boots, and the sides of tanks. I then take a brush filled with this thinner and touch it to the edge of the pigment-- it will soak in and adhere the loose pigment with the surface, melting and blending in some of the granules for added effect of caked on mud and dirt.
