Smooth-running EMD F7 diesel locomotive with all-wheel drive and operating headlight.
47" x 38" oval of snap-fit E-Z Track which includes (12) pieces of curved track, (1) piece of straight track and (1) plug-in terminal rerailer.
Power pack.
Speed controller with plug-in wiring, power indicator light and direction switch.
The locomotive and all cars equipped with E-Z Mate knuckle coupler.

Begginers set, not for pros

I ordered this of of Amazon as my first, ho scale train set. I found this item adequate for a begginers set, of course this isn't something the pros would buy, it's awesome for kids too. Pros: â€¢ everything needed included â€¢ smooth operation â€¢ very improved operation compared to older bachmann â€¢ no problems after around 12 hours of use Cons: â€¢small amount of track â€¢ ez mate couplers Before purchasing this you should know it only has two peices of strait track, I would purchase more alongside this product.

this is a good started set. have been modeling in n scale, my 1st. one in HO. I set up on a 4 by 6 plywood. I ran the set, works great. looking forward to my next delivery.keep up the good work.

Decent Starter

I would recommend this as a starter set for novice collectors or for kids. I definitely noticed how light the cars are in this set once I started adding single pieces to my collection. I'm also not a fan of the plastic wheels and axles. But I also don't regret buying this set just to get my collection started.
