I love this painting. The colors are very soothing and the wave is amazing. I changed the color of the horizon on mine as well as the reflection on the sand because I didn't like the coral sky. The rest of the picture looks just like the box. There is a great deal of mixing colors with this kit so I suggest you purchase some little paint cups to save your colors in. They give you plenty of paint to complete the project, even if you make a mistake there's plenty of paint to correct it. The numbers were clear and easy to read. The lighter colors required several coats to cover the numbers and lines though, but this is quite common with paint by number kits. The paint brush that comes with the kit is more than adequate to finish the picture. You will get several hours of enjoyment from this kit and it is suitable for framing. My friends didn't know it was a kit. They thought I painted it freehand. It's that good. You can buy this kit with confidence.

I bought this to paint while I was recovering from surgery. It was so detailed that I didn't manage to finish during my recovery. I finished it recently and LOVE it just as much as the day I ordered it. The lighter colors need a couple coats, but the outcome is stunning. I am not a lighthouse fan, but the colors appeal to me. They really pop against the dark skies. Beautiful. I will probably hang in my office at work!
