"A great kit"

The Fokker DR.1 is the most iconic of the WWI aircraft. The triple cantilevered wings and the distinctive bright red paint scheme of Manfred Von Richthofen it clearly stood out in the sky and is easily remembered. The lower powered earlier engines and the 3 wings made this little aircraft slower than it's opponents but it could climb faster and nimbly out maneuver them. Suited more aerobatics than speed many German pilots took their flying skills to a higher level and became aces flying the DR.1. Dragon has faithfully produced a superior representation of this remarkable aircraft, brilliant in every detail, and well worth the build. If you are collecting WWI aircraft models, then this is one that you will want add to your collection.
