BA-6 Armored Car

This is another nice armored car kit from HobbyBoss. In appearance, it is fairly similar to the BA-3, its predecessor. The unit's wheel/tire system is plastic wheels with separate rubber tires over them. Like the BA-3 kit, this one would be nice to see any updated version of the kit contain the extra tread-like links normally stored/carried on the rear mud guards, for placement over the rear tires in half-track style fashion for better off-road performance. Also not included in the kit, some of the units produced were equipped with the horseshoe-shaped turret radio frame as found on some of the T-26/BT-5 tanks. Toward the end of its production run, a BA-6M model was produced, that had the new conical-style turret and cab top-mounted whip radio system, as can be found in the BA-10 kit. Overall, the kit is of good quality and is nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.
