M4A3E8 Tank US Korean War

This Hobby Boss kit is a straight forward build. The kit has the usual details, such as the pioneer tools etc. An added bonus is a nice set of photo etch which bring very nice scale to the detailing protecting the vehicles lights. The kit also includes some very nicely done moldings of the crew's personal gear. There were some fit issues with turret pieces and hull pieces. These were nothing too worrisome. A bit of test fitting, clamping and a little putty took care of everything. The road wheels fit onto their axles a little sloppily. Patience and care was the work around for this. The tracks are a one piece rubber that has some stretch to it. Overall, this was a very enjoyable build.
