Fun retro kit to build on a weekend, some flash and thick sprue to deal with, but, overall a nice kit. Adding some details improves the finished look, but it’s not bad built as is.

This kit is from the 1950s but it’s still a fun build. Revell did a great job with the fit and detail. I like that Atlantis reprinted the original Revell instructions with renderings instead of line drawings. Expect some challenges with the cab build and fenders. If I remember correctly there was also a Ford pickup and motorcycle policeman in this 1/48 series.

Wonderfully detailed kit in 1/48 scale. I am looking forward to sharing pictures of the completed build.
