I picked up one of these from Badger, and it's easily one of the best airbrushes I've ever used. It fits my hand perfectly, the trigger action is smooth, and the construction is top notch. My only complaint is that even with a very fine needle, I haven't yet been able to do much fine detail work with it. I use airbrushes to paint wargame miniatures, and I had hoped to use this one in combination with my Badger Patriot 105, using the 105 for priming and basecoating and the Sotar for detail work. Of the two, I'd recommend the Patriot only slightly more than this one. However, if you have hands that are smaller than average, you may find the Sotar Slim is a little more comfortable to use. Two of my kids (11 and 9) also enjoy miniature painting, and they have a little easier time using this brush than the Patriot.
