It works great
Every once in a while you run into a product that leaves you wondering how you managed to live without it for so long. This is it. BSI Un-Cure works quickly, easily and without a mess. The applicator works well and it doesn't clog. It works on CA and Model Master liquid cement (all I've tried it on so far). It does not damage the plastic or even any paint on it. Just let it sit for a while then gently pry apart whatever you are trying to separate. You might need to make several applications. If, like me, you buy used buildings at train shows for kit bashing you absolutely need this stuff.
Not sure I am using this right
I bought this after buying and using some CA glue and hoping this would easily debond parts.... but ..... when I use it is very thin and drenches the parts. I could try and apply or use a syringe but did not use it much after the first overapplication. Even after that, the parts were as tight as when I started and the debonder left a haze over the paint.
Promises made, promises kept
Had some BSI extra thin CA drip into the handle of my x-acto knife, gluing the blade and collet together. 3 weeks later I tried using un-cure to break them loose, and it worked great. Haven't tested if it will attack styrene though.
