These are excellent for cutting parts off of the sprue. They give a nice flat cut that needs minimal of no cleanup. The fine tip will get into small areas and snip delicate part with ease.

Back in the day we just twisted parts off the sprues, which left detailing, cutting/sanding excess. Or worse taking a chip out of the part removed. A must have tool for the serious modeler...

If you are like me, you want a pair of cutter capable of doing a good job with one tool to fit many applications. These are strong enough to meet any job requirement. I cut off my parts with them, and also cut wire, and brass. They never seem to get dull. Feel good in your hand and remain lined up without bending like other cheaper snips.
