Craftsman Level
This review will be very similar to the Tichy tank car review I submitted. If you can classify a styrene kit as a craftsman kit I would put this kit at that difficulty level. Literally dozens of tiny parts that need to be assembled and attached to the model. I had neither the tools nor the skills to finish this model. The under body brake detail proved too hard as did the drillingthe holes for and attaching the various steps and hand rails. I don't want to penalize the kit because of my lack of skill, so the 3 star rating is because of the poor instructions. I found them confusing and unclear and the diagrams inadequate and too few for the number of steps covered in the written instructions. The photos of the finished model were grainy, blurry and smeared with toner/ink like they were having trouble with their copier. This kit requires skills and tools I don't have and I couldn't recommend them to anyone but the most experienced kit builder.
