I had never used music wire before this purchase. I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a lot stronger than I thought it would be. It takes a sturdy cutter to cut it and if not easy to bend. I think these are features. They allow making small, functional parts as well as small-scale parts that aren't fragile, like antennae.

I'm using these for antennae on my Battletech mechs to replace the flimsy plastic ones that keep breaking off. This music wire is about as tough as it gets; I had to resort to using heavy duty cutters to avoid ruining my hobby cutters!
