Another Scratchbuilding Staple The Plastruct 0.015 inch Round Rod has many uses. These look great when used to simulate exterior electrical conduit or exterior mounted water lines. The rods are also great for making frames to simulate collapsible signage, such as those found near road work or construction sites. The round rods are around 1-3/8 HO Scale inches, so these could also simulate chain link poles. Painted black or dark grey they could be used as heavy cable or thick insulated wire.. The rods bend easily so they can be wrapped, turned, or coiled. Measures about 74 HO Scale feet long, over 10 actual inches.

These cut very easy and can be bent easily with a little heat.
