"Solid Figures"

These figures are solid, very good for play. Their bodies are compact, dense, and stocky and the bits that extend outward (like bayonets, barrels, etc.) are thick and sturdy enough not to bend too easily. This is my first Mars set and I'm still in the process of painting them. The paint spreads and sticks nicely but has been peeling off easily. Possibly my technique. These are most similar to Armies in Plastic figures in shape, density, pose, etc.; very unlike the more finessed 1/32 figures like Call to Arms.
