Review Summary
The reviews highlight a strong appreciation for the detailed and high-quality design of the figure kits, noting the accurate likeness to characters, minimal flash on the plastic, and the inclusion of unique features like a lighted pumpkin with prewired batteries and a switch. Many users found the assembly straightforward, though some mentioned minor seam work and fit issues that require patience, along with challenges in detailed painting and weathering. Overall, the kits are praised as excellent additions to collections, especially for fans of the movie themes, and are recommended for both beginners and experienced builders.
A great addition from the company
Having built models ever since I was a boy, I would only build cars and wood and plastic sailing ships. When I wanted to try something different, I found the Batman series of figures, and since then I got hooked. Now I was stuck building them until the Joker figure comes out. So I went to see was other figures were out, and I saw the Michael Myers figure. Like the other figures I was very impressed with this kit. The figure looks just like the character, and the only problem I had was finding out the color of his eyes. The internet said they were brown in the early movies, so I went with that. All of the pieces fit together well with very little flash. The detail painting can be tedious, because there are lines in the boards for the steps that require either a very fine brush, or a thinned out paint to go in the lines. There is also a bag of spilled candy that requires a lot of different colors. There is also an LED light that goes inside the pumpkin that sits on the step, and the battery box goes under the porch. To use this light you have to remove a small tab under the pumpkin, and drill a 3 mm hole in the bottom. I had to get a 3 mm drill bit for a wooden ship kit I'm building, and the only place I could find one was on Amazon. I was very impressed with this kit, and It would be great if they could make some other movie monsters like Freddie Kruger. I think this company makes the best figure kit, and I hope for many more in the future

Great looking kit. Very little if any on the flash. Maybe some seam clean. Should be able to build in sub assemblies and paint. Has a light for the pumpkin, has a switch and batteries included and prewired. Very nice touch. You could just paint and assemble, or paint then detail and assemble. Should look good either way. Already started even though i have about 5 or 6 i have started. May just have to clean off my desk to work on this one. Simple build. If you are looking for something new to build get this one.
